Plasti dip? Can you tell us a little bit more about this product?
Just throwin it out there, but I am betting you dip your plastic in it.
I'm not sayin.............I'm just sayin
Three in the garage, and I think I can fit at least one more in.....and then we will have to build another garage.
The roads in NY are so bad that I am glad we bought a Ryker Rally
I will look at using this on my bikes along with my Spyder. How long has it been on and have you seen any cracking of the paint?

I know about Plasti Dip I have used it on tool handles for years. I'm sorry but I don't see the reasoning behind doing such a thing to a spyder. What are the advantages for you or the spyder?
Car guys have been dipping their cars for a while now, to change the color and yet be able to change it back quickly or as rock chip protection. Bike guys have recently picked up the trend. I was going to go with vinyl film, but now I think I might try dipping it.

My son did his CBR600 F4 frame in black. DON`T get gass on it! It will take it right off or at least the brand he used. Personaly I didn`t think it was that durable. Like I said it may be something he did or the brand. JMHO
I have used "the dip" on hand tools for years. Metal parts, wooden parts, and various other surfaces. I am careful to apply properly, and have never had it come off or crack. ------Budro
That's the beauty of plastidip. You try but don't like it, you just peel it off.
Durability wise, it seems to hold pretty well if not held or rubbed on constantly. I don't know about how easily will get damaged by chemical/fuel.
It's just minimal investment for pretty good result. Someone asked me what if you scraped the rim against curb or something? Wouldn't your non-dipped rims get damaged too but with dipped rim, I just peel and reapply for $6.
