Okay, it is getting close now. Getting ready to have a wonderful steak dinner with my husband, then I head into work for 12 hours. Everything is just about packed so when I get home I can go to bed for a few hours and get some sleep. Get up by 1:30 pm or 2:00pm, take the dogs to my mother-in-laws house, come back home to my packed Spyder and Gene's trailer (it is all cleaned up by the way, hope it stays that way on the ride down Gene ). Head over to Brian's work and pick him up and then we are on our way south. We hope to get a good 5 or 6 hours of riding in so that we are pretty fresh on Friday. We can't wait to combine such good friends and good times with the celebration of our 22nd Wedding Anniversary. Can't wait to see everyone so very soon.

I'm thinking of coming in on Friday and being back in Alton by 8 am Saturday to catch the IL group! I've already posted an itinerary for us on Saturday. Gene---you still going to meet up at six-flags??

Yeah, we keep flip flopping back and forth about which route to take. I think it is about 6 of one 1/2 dozen of another. We shouldn't hit traffic too bad on the south side of Chicago by the time we get there if we go that way, which I think we are going to attempt, at least on the way out. Probably stop in Joliet or close to there in just a cheap notel motel. That leave us just under 6 hours for the ride on Friday. We will have to compare notes on the time and traffic. I have done the I-69 route a number of times, that traffic around Indy can be every bit as bad as going south of Chicago. Time of day is everything. I also need to check and see if there is construction on either route, that will also be a factor. I will check while I am at work tonight and if I find anything out, I will PM you. It may help us both decide which way is the best route to take.

Everything will be fine! There will be 4 of us to keep an eye on Doc. He's actually very harmless. His major flaw, just can't stand another arachnid ahead of him. Other Spyder ryders beware! As far as the rest of us........we are as cute and harmless as puppies. I mean, would I lie to anyone?

You start out with the statement that "Doc is harmless" and then expect us to believe the rest of it?

The only difference between Doc and a cannon ball is the cannon ball eventually slows down!
