Getting an F3 harmonic noise between 2500 & 2700 rpm, anyone else?
I am getting a rather noticeable harmonic humming sound, between 2500 and 2700 RPM. Sounds like it is coming from the rear area of the Spyder. Anyone else experiencing this?

Himm. Couple of things come to mind right off.
Belt tension correct?
Belt tracking correctly?
Worn tyre?
Front pulley mounted correctly?
Rear wheel mounted correctly?
Do you own a Krikit?
Will you post a result this thread when its resolved?

Thanks for the input. Only have less than 1k miles on the spyder. I guess anything is possible.

No worries there, thats what this place is about.
Yes anythings possible so you have to respond and then it can be narrowed down. Make sense?
So what do you have there, year?
Whats the mileage traveled?

Depending on the size of the shop you got it in, and the talent of the person that put it together out of the box, all of those things at where given to you may be giving you that noise. Or it could be just the first time jitters and your just not use to the new quirks of this ride! I would put a few more miles on her and see if it gets better or worse, after I checked it over a little!
