I decided today I needed to get my Tender connections installed on my 21 RTL. I was surprised to find that the battery cable bolts were only finger tight, I could move the cable easily. I have seen others posting that they should have a star washer on them. They didn't but they do now and I tightened them nice and snug. I ran it out through the grommet by the positive post and through the zipper in the frunk. I had a extension cable about 4 foot that I attached so I could easily access it. Plugged it in and it immediately started charging while I reset my clock. After about 10 minutes I went ahead and started the bike and the tender switched to standby. I have just over 500 miles on it, I suggest every one especially if you have recently bought your Spyder Check your cables and make sure they are clean and tight. I also put on the foam grips which was much harder and took longer than the tender did.
