Did I find the first Spyder. I saw this at the Forney Museum of Transportation in Denver CO this past weekend. Sure looks like it could have been the first Spyder prototype. Haha. I know it was built long before the first Spyder came along but I thought it was interesting anyway. What do you think?
Gotta go for a Spyder ryde now, to get the crick out of my neck!

I cheated, and twisted my monitor sideways too HAHAAhaha. I do it for work all the time.
@Partzman23 THANK YOU SO MUCH. What a find. Forney Museum of Transportation? Hope this exhibit is still there by the time I can make it out!
This is a solid piece of history right here. Fascinating.
Heck... if things took a different turn...
we very well all might have ended up Ner-A-Car Riders if that guy didn’t have to end production in ‘24.
And looks like we’d still need to attach cupholders

Pictures need to be cropped into landscape image. Wider than tall. Or taken in landscape vs portrait.

Coulda been one tough hombre! Consider: Look at that tiny, hard seat and the suspension-free chassis. And then: imagine the roadways in 1922?

Could be amongst the first IC Engined versions but there are a few even earlier 'steam powered' versions running around - I thought someone'd posted a vid or link to one of them from circa 1905 here not that long ago, but can't find it right now, so maybe not?!? Still, shouldn't be too hard to find for one of the avid 'youtubers' out there!
