    Default engine clatter

I have a 2011 Spyder RT that after not being started of maybe 2 weeks, I get a loud knocking that lasts about 10 Min. Its so loud it worries me. Anyone dad that happen?

My 2012RT would have a bit of a "rattle" when first started if it had sat for a few weeks. Always cleared up within a minute or so and I just figured it was making noise until oil reached all the important parts of the engine / transmission. Never gave me any trouble, so I never bothered to have it checked.

My first thought is OIL -- when was the last time you checked your oil (by the book, of course)? Also, when was the last oil change?

    All the best .... Ann

    Default Tough one...

Especially if you have to wait 2 weeks for the sound. If it worries you you should have it checked. Normally you may have some noise till oil circulates depending on your level and condition. 10 minutes does seem a bit long...
