Just installed LED bulbs in my wife's 2019 F3-T and was trying to adjust them. Heads up, the cable actuated adjuster pictured earlier in this thread adjust the lights horizontally only. To adjust...

That could be an excellent solution, do you know if it has a rubber seal under the lip?
Meaning don't spray it with a hose to wash it?
Personally, I think the sway bar will have a bigger effect that the shocks but I plan to do both. Already ordered the BajaRon bar, will like to do the M2 or Elka shocks next year.
I noticed you...
I was going to create a post on the gas filler design so I'm glad this came up. If you take a look at the design of the tank inlet and lid you'll see that not only is there no seal, but if you were...
2014 Can-Am Spyder ST-S SE5 – $13,900
For Sale is my wife’s 2014 Spyder ST-S with the electronic shift SE-5 transmission in pearl white. We bought it new in the spring of 2014, it has been garage...
My experience matches the above post almost exactly. We got abouit 6,000 on the OEM Kenda and it was done. The Kumho Ecsta AST has been on for about 1,000 miles now and the feel is noticeably better....
Amen to that! If BMW and KTM can do it on their bikes certainly BRP can do it. The overly restrictive nanny is why I won't own one for my own ride at present.
...and your catalytic converter will be ruined from the lead in avgas.
Good point, it DOES matter whether you have 14" or 15" wheels so we should each specify, though the reader can probably tell if the year of the Spyder is mentioned.
On our '14 ST-S I've found...
Thought I'd revive this thread since it's been a while. Anyone found a suitable replacement in this size?
Same thing whenever I ride my wife's ST-S. I'm still riding on two wheels and would have switched to a Spyder if the nanny was somehow adjustable like virtually every other vehicle made with such...
Of course not, my apologies for that inference. I have found nothing online, nothing from anyone in person either. That doesn't mean it doesn't exist, just that I haven't found anything yet.
Do...
No, but I would be all over any sort of hack to reduce the nanny's thresholds!! I have been surfing all over the Internet trying to find something, can't find a thing. BRP has the computer system...
Is ProCaliber Longview no longer a Spyder dealer? That is the home of Shawn Smoak, an outstanding Spyder tech. We bought my wife's 2014 ST-S there earlier this year and I no longer see Can-Am listed...
Indeed, the RS-S for 2014 got "retuned" VSS. I had a very brief test ride on one and the difference was marginal at best -- I wasn't even sure I could tell a difference.
I'll repeat my...
IIRC the owners manual calls for removal of the instrument cluster to access the headlight bulbs. Comes out pretty easy, not a big deal.
New 2014 ST-S with just over 1,000 miles now, our results are consistent with most others: 30 mpg overall with 27-28 when hammering and 32 when doing freeway-only at below 70 mph.
I just did exactly the same thing, installed a BajaRon bar and left off the two bottom panels. It's still too cold here to tell, and we have a 2014, but omitting those bottom panels sure makes sense...
Steve,
Very good to see someone from BRP here! I just purchased an ST-S for my wife and would like to provide some detailed feedback to BRP. What is the best destination for that sort of...
Thanks, that may be just the solution we're looking for.
I couldn't agree more, especially the part about BRP giving the machine several nanny settings. I looked at getting an RSS for myself to go with my wife's STS and decided not to after spending more...
How do you reach the parking brake switch?
And does the strap wrap around the handlebars ok with that shield in there?
I just installed one of these on my wife's new ST. I love it, I just cant stand that stock fender, and it eliminates a whole bunch of unsprung weight. The manual with the kit made reference to the...
+1
I'd like to get one too, quite surprised (and disappointed) that there wasn't one in the tool kit.
I just did the first oil change on my wife's new '14 ST-S and left the two bottom panels off. Like you, I can't see what purpose they add other than a place to trap gravel, something else to make oil...
Darn, that Nelson-Rigg bag looks perfect! I checked the installation instructions and indeed the forward strap can't be used on an ST. Grr, any others found a good solution?
That could work, where did you get it? Googling didn't reveal much.
Of course the frunk is a wonderful thing that keeps all your ryding goodies fairly accessible, but we are looking for some sort of small "tank bag" that fits on the black plastic panel between the...
Oh, BTW, when I did the short (7 mile) test ride on the '14 RS-S I snuck off onto some closed pavement to see if I could tell a difference in the VSS. Compared to the wife's ST it didn't seem much...
