    Default It gets better...

you need to get the engines broken in to start seeing improvement. It gets better with each tank full but for full effect you need to travel the same paths..

As posted, the mileage will improve a bit as more miles pile on. 38 - 41 seems to be ballpark for our RT 1330's. Last tank for me was 39 mpg. 10,800 miles.

Even well broken in our mileage is still about the same as what you posted.

I'm suspecting it is on account of always riding two up and with the Pitbul cat removal pipe installed, I'm always shifting around 4000 revs, and seldom run the revs below 2500 when cruising.

All the best with it and I hope you find the MPG you are hoping for.

Default 2nd fill up mpg 2014 rts

I have 1200 miles on my 2014 RT and got 42 mpg yesterday on a long highway ride. Prior to that I had been getting 31 mpg average. Hope it was not a fluke.

The 42 is what I usually get with about 4,000 miles riding one up and no trailer. With 2 up and the trailer behind it is about 34. The harley trikes I ride with get about 35 with one up and no trailer. So we are doing good.
