I've already seen a couple of the Special series Spyders and really don't like the two tone idea. Its just a personnel thing I guess.

Yes., It was part of the 2015 model reveal. The new limited edition models are out and in dealer show rooms now.

I did not go "fine print" hunting, but noted that the RT "Special" comes with:

    • Machined deep black high gloss twelve-spoke front wheels
Special Series short tinted electric windshield
    • Embossed Special Series signature seat
    Special Series trims

I do like the color treatments on the RT.

Still find the special colors on the RS a bit much--but I am considered conservative.

If you were conservative, you would't have purchased a Spyder, all those years ago.

I like the wheels; I'm just not wild about all of the satin chrome parts that they used on them...
They should have used the bright chrome from the Limiteds! (IMHO)

The satin chrome is nice, but it needs the bigger windshield

I love the special series. It gives a whole new dimension to the red color. I'm not crazy about the red on the limited but really like it in the SS. I like the brushed chrome, don't like regular chrome at all.

Now if only they would add some extra horsepower to the RTS and the RTS-S to make them truly sporty I'd be looking to trade mine in.

    Default Sales gimicks...

saw them a while back but just color and wheels....not enough to impress. Will have a following no doubt...
