Default Brake Failure '12 RT limited

While driving today, the screen flashed orange saying I had a brake failure! Shocked I was, 11,000 miles and a brake failure, wow! There was no problem stopping several times but the fear of what is causing it causes some concerns. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced same and what was done to correct the issue?

Most likely low brake fluid. Most report it only takes a small amount to bring it back to a satisfactory level. Make sure you use the proper fluid. Check your owners manual.

As brake pads wear with miles of use. The fluid level will drop proportionally.

Albeit a slight drop in the level to make the system balance, did topping off the fluid prevent the orange screen brake failure????
