Default Tearing apart the console gauge pod?

How do you disassemble the console/fairing pod thing? If you remove all screws holding the windshield and the screws that attach the mirror will that allow that upper plastic shell to be removed?

I did this when changing Head lights and once you have the Shield and mirrors off there are some clips on each side you depress with a screwdriver and it will pop off.

Thank you for the reply. So i assume they are located where those little notches are along each side? Does it snap back together easily? I'm also working on replacing the lights

I got a 5 or 6 page RS/RSS cowling/console disassembly manual (good pics) from Spyd1, when I was trying to swap out my headlight bulbs. Send me a PM with an e mail address (if you like) and I'll e mail you a copy of mine.

Well, for all of those that follow this thread..... You need to use a POINTED Awl or very very small phillips screwdriver. I was using a flat head screw driver. I got the top off but I think I fawked up the little plastic fingers on the upper console
