Step 2: 3,110 miles, 48 hours: Spyders in the Redwoods™

• Depart August 4, 2012 @ 1600 EST from Lake Placid, NY
• Arrival August 6 @ aprox 1300 PST in Eureka, CA

Step 3: 3,070 miles, 48 hours: return trip

• Depart August 9, 2012 @ 2300 PST from Eureka, CA
• Arrival August 12 @ aprox 0300 EST in Florida.

Total miles: 7,600 + events miles
Nights on the road: 5

Well.... I tried to start the spyder today at different times and guess what?????

Code P1614 ....Throttle body failure.... grrrrrr

I just wonder which dealer has the throttle body or how long it will take for the dealer to get one.....??? Will be calling Monday... tomorrow.

Module: ECM
Description: Throttle idle position failure on throttle release.
Possible causes:

• Throttle mechanical adjustment
• No initialization after thrrottle body/ECM replacement

Service actions:

• Check throttle mechanical adjustment
• Check idle stop for wear
• Ensure throttle plate is against throttle stop
• Check throttle angle at idle
• Perform Throttle Position Sensor Reset in BUDS with throttle completely OFF

You're going to be travelling through the Buckeye State in-between a couple our OSR group rides. I'll make it a point to try and track you down if possible and buy you a tank of gas, lunch, a red bull and race ya to the border.
