    Default Weld question

I would like to do a couple of welds on the RT-S. Will this harm any electronic components? Should I disconnect any

If you do weld on your RT. always disconnect the battery and place your ground clamp as close as possible to the work place you are welding. DO NOT weld on the engine / tranny. Your welding electric arc can arc across a bearning and cause it to sease up inside your engine
I would think twice about what you are planing to do. Do you really need to do it ?????

I have done it on exhaust systems. As said, disconnect battery, place ground clamp as close to weld area as possible, and go for it.

p.s. I did the same as you... asked here first.

p.s.s. Lamont was/is a pro welder in his prior life.
