How Many Miles Did You Go in 2020?
Well, another year has passed us by. For many, it has been a difficult year. A lot of us have used the Spyder as an escape from some of the glitches that life has sent our way this year.
Please use this thread to post how many miles you put on your two or three wheelers this year.
I will start this off:
2015 Vulcan: 3668 miles
2014 Spyder RT-S 8722 miles
2019 Spyder F3L 11,209 miles
Total for the year: 23,599 miles. That is a record for us with a full year of driving in Arkansas.
All of ours were within 200 miles of home base.

Previously : 2008 GS-SM5 (silver), 2009 RS-SE5 (red), 2010 RT-S Premier Editon #474 (black) 2011 RT A&C SE5 (magnesium) 2014 RTS-SE6 (yellow)
MY FINAL TALLY: 7 Spyders, 15 years, 205,500 miles
IT HAS BEEN A LONG, WONDERFUL, AND FUN RIDE.

Well, for 2020 I split things up a little different this year. These are all approx. miles.
2016 F3T- 5300 miles
2010 Yamaha Vmax- 5500 miles
2017 California Special mustang convertible - 5000 miles
I included the convertible because there were times I tried to convince the wife to ride the spyder and she didn't want to deal with putting on a helmet. So we still got some open air fun.

Not nearly enough. I think I've only ridden about 6k miles between the (2) bikes. I put ~4k miles on the '18 RT before I traded it in on the current '21 RT. I haven't looked at the odometer recently but I think I've only got about 2k miles on this one. I blame having to work 60 hours/week. I only get a chance to ride on the weekends.

I know how you feel. But if you were blessed to be working in 2020, it was truly a blessing in itself. I am doing well due to having finances somewhat in order, but my revenue for 2020 is about 1/2 of what 2019 was, and 2019 was really just an average year. But here's to more riding and more work in 2021.

I don't know.I will have to go look. Due to a broken ankle I missed 8 weeks of prime riding time this summer. I missed Deadwood this year, but did get to San Diego before the pandemic shut everything down. I made it to Red Rock Ride In in St. George. I have not been exposed Covid that I know of and do wear a mask especially when I go north to Provo or Salt Lake City. I feel very blessed to have ridden at all this year and to been as healthy as I am, being 74 with underlying health issues. Living in rural Utah has many benefits.

I got a little over 8000 this year, which is a record for me. Almost all riding for us is around the Black Hills except for 1 Bighorns loop where we trailer in and out of Buffalo WY.

I have 3400 miles on the 2020 F3L I purchased in September. Less than 1000 on the Nomad and about 2000 on the RS. Traded the Nomad and the RS on the F3L. Had total hip replacement surgery June 23, and did not ride until late August. Hoping 2021 brings the opportunity to ride more now that I can ride without hip pain.

I have a 2016 F3-T and it was my first spyder. Got it in Dec of 2019, and I have about 7300 miles on it so far.

For sure, not nearly enough this past year. I wanted to go to several rallies that I haven't been to before but with this damn covid thing I didn't go to any. Didn't go on any long trips or even an over night stay on the Spyder which is very unusual for me. This year, 2020 is a year to forget. Lets hope 2021 is a better one, but only time will tell.

I bought my 2020 RT Limited at the end of March and now I'm just shy of 11,000 miles on it. I would have had more but many of the Spyder events were cancelled this year. Although, I did make it to Deadwood, Mountains, Music and Motorcycles, Spyders in the Ozarks and Maggie Valley.
Here's to a better 2021.
2020 Chalk, RT Limited, Dark and matching RT622 trailer and BRP hitch. BRP Drivers Backrest, Auxiliary Light, Garmin Zumo XT, GPS Support, RT Rear Panel and Travel Cover. Spyderpops LEDs on fenders, mirrors, saddlebags, top case and RT rear panel. Spyderpops Rock Guard. BajaRon Swaybar, Wolo Bad Boy horn, Freedom Windshield, Elka Shocks.

Very close to 14000. We only ran one major trip. Went all the way around the UP, up one side of Michigan and down the other side. We did a lot of 2 hour rides close to home, Ohio and NY. Actually I was opposite. In the spring with the pandemic our schools went into shutdown mode. I'm a teacher and my wife works at a university so we actually rode more locally never stopping accept gas for about 2-4 hours every day. Summer hit and we kept it up. Just local never stopping. So I actually rode more this year than normal.

How many miles this year
3100 miles--This is our first spyder. Got it in July, we only got to ride in the evening during the summer and on weekends. We keep our grandkids during the day while our son works. All of the miles were within 100 miles of home a lot of 2-3 hour rides locally. We like to travel the back roads around southeast Missouri. I try to stay off the interstate as much as possible. Hopefully 2021 will be a better year for riding. We hope to make it to a few rallys and meet ups with other spyder ryders.
We will be looking at the 2020 RTL model in the spring for a possible trade up. Will have to wait and see. Ryde safe!

Got the Spyder September 8th '20 -- 4700 miles since then. 3800 on the Scout from 5/20 until 9/20. 8500 total, but since the Spyder is much better for longer rides than the Scout and is comfortable in a wider temperature range, '21 will be a better year.

5777 miles on the 2020 Spyder (post covid).
About 1000 miles on the 2014 Spyder (pre covid).
So about 6700 miles total for all of 2020.

I did not ride nearly enough..... Still had my foot in a cast until June 19th. and it took a while to get my shoes on
SIDE NOTE: Do not ever brake the bones in your foot Just ask Mrs. Lamonster.....
I am guessing I have put about 200 on my PC800 Honda and about 800 on the Spyder.... that's about it for this year
but there will be many more in 2021 if this damn Covid 19 is gone...

We have had our Spyder for two months today and have put around 1700 miles on it, the first week it never left the RV resort until I completed my trike training. Chris

~6,500 on Gold Wing
~4,800 on Spyder
...so...a little over 11,000, which is my first 10,000+ mile season. We had snow on the ground as late as May 9, so being a short season made this even more impressive. I own a cabin in northern NY, so I have multiple nice routes to take to get there, and the cabin serves as a good starting point to get to other areas of the state. Rode a lot in the eastern Finger Lakes and over towards Oneonta and Cooperstown this year. Only got as far into the Adirondacks as Old Forge. My 100-150 mile rides of the past turned into 200-300 mile rides this year. I did make it into PA for a few miles (Bradford), but 11,280 of my 11,300 miles were in the Empire State. For the second year in a row, we have had an extended riding season due to a warm, dry fall - by far the best time of year to ride in this part of the country.
