Are these hex bolts in this peg??
The foot plate of my widow footrest is loose on the shaft of the peg. I tried all sizes of hex keys and nothing fits. There - now you know I am not real handy with tools. I don't want to resort to duct tape to keep it from being loose.

To me, they look like some of those security type heads. The proper wrench would have a dimple or small indent on the tip to allow proper seating. But perhaps you can call the manufacture and they may be able to assist..just my .02

Yes you can or you can get a whole set for 8-10 dollars. They are security allen wrenches. Your screws have little posts in them so you must get an allen wrench with a hole in the middle for the post to fit in. That way your allen wrench will go all the way in and you can remove or tighten them as you need.

Am I the only ryder who ever had the foot plate get loose on the rest of the peg? Heading to the store to get a security allen set... it's always something... thanks.

You can wedge the proper size screwdriver in a bust the pin off. I've done it. Good luck.

All of the above
Do you have anyone you can borrow one from. Not much all for those wrenches....
