WTB: Backrest for 2014 ST Limited

I held off for 2 years to finally get my back rest. I wanted the Smoothspyder backrest and kept watching on SL to see if I could pick up a used one. I got tired of waiting so I bought one and darn wouldn't you know someone had one for sale about a month later. You don't see them come up for sale very often. Seems like they are keepers. Oh well I'm still glad I did it. I chose the smoothspyder because it gave me so many different options/positions I can use. If I have someone with me or if I have that extra large "treasure" to bring home then I can switch it to the rear position. Otherwise I have the backrest for myself. You can also adjust it when you're wearing a heavy winter jacket or just a summer shirt, it doesn't have to stay in one set position like a standard backrest. Very versatile and very well made. Just my thoughts, Cindy

I totally agree with Cindy. I have one on 2013 ST. The Black St on SmoothSpyder's Web Page. It is an easy install. It is a keeper.

Another +1 for Smoothspyder & Jim is great guy, very helpful with the instructions & any questions all the way. The back rest that allows tool less movement to mutiple positions & all quality parts.
Holds my flag too
Only other non OEM ive seen was by Ultimate seats & only worked on their seats i think
or with Corbin (but their service sucks too bad to consider)so go with the smooth spyder dual mode & youll be happy!

Looks like the smoothspyder is the way to go. Would work great, especially not having to remove the tail plastic / panel. Would be great to find one used!

Heard about your need for a backrest thru a friend here - i don't have pics of ours but - we have this back rest From Can Am bought new. We had on or 2012 RSS for one summer until we bought our .ULtimate Seat , then we bought the backrest to match. FIts the RS , RSS and up to 2014.

This has sold!! Never expected it to go as fast as it did! Obviously things move fast here on spyderlovers! lol
