Default What is this Bolt/Screw Type

2013 ST Limited. Want to remove the saddlebag support but can't identify this bolt type. I need to remove the panel under it. The service manual say's to remove the "mounting screws". Huh? Its a bolt type I've never seen before and I googled it but can't find anything on it. It looks similar to a tri-wing.

If you now what it is do you have a source for driver bits?

    Thanks

    Default Finaly Found The Tool

The tool for this is called a Givi Tool for the Givi Mounting Kit (what the bolts are called). I can find no reference for this in the service manual; maybe I missed it. It can only be purchased through your dealer. The part number is 708300261. Wish it could have been a standard torx or hex head bolt.

The tool came with your Spyder when new. Mine was in the cardboard box of extra stuff that comes with a Limited. So it was lost or if you bought it used the seller did not give it to you.

    Thumbs up givi tool

I just installed saddle bags on my ST. Bought the bags used.
I didn't get the Givi tool in time to complete the install. So...
As a stopgap measure, I used the WIDE point of my automotive brake adjuster spoon to turn the fastener.
Worked for me. Now, thanks to the PO, I have the proper Givi tool safely packed in my tool kit.
