    Default Plug for Garmin Zumo

Is there a plug in the wiring harness to plug in the Zumo power cord, I have the power cord from a 2012 RTL

It appears from your profile you have a 2012 RTL. If you have the Zumo that came with that machine then you do not need a power cord, all you need to do is put it in the mounting cradle in the center of th handlebars. If you have a different Zumo, then no there isn't a place to plug it in you will have to make one.

I have the 12 RTL, put Tri-axis handlebars on for the wife. The mount no longer fits, there is a new one. I have ordered the part to mount the Zumo mount to the handlebars of my F3S.

The question is, is there a connection in the wiring harness of the F3 that I can plug the plug that is on the Zumo Mount into. On the RTL, you just plug it in. Has one of those waterproof compression connectors on the end of it.

I have an F3 but I use a switched power supply for my Zumo 590 that I installed in the frunk. I did, however, keep a link to this thread which may help you:
    http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/s...Assessory-wire

In that thread is a link to Wiredux and their 2 pin power bridge adapter that they also recommend but that link doesn't appear to be working for me today. Spyderpops can provide that Wiredux part to you and here's the link to it on their site: http://spyderpops.com/brands/WIREDUX.html

Hopefully this info should get you started.

When I got the 590 and handlebar mount for the F3 it came with everything needed, and it has the connector on the end. If you need a connector, PM me.

Mine mount has the connector on it, I am wondering if there is a place on the wiring harness to plug that connector into?

On the F3, the GPS power is on right side, under the small rear panel. You will have to remove the seats to be able to remove the panel. Make sure you check the polarity of the connector before you just plug in your GPS.
