If you had XM on your phone that would work. I use Pandora on mine most of the time and you can change tracks.

Don't have the room for a sub unless I get really creative.

sounds and looks good!
I didn't think I'd like external speakers on the F3, but you changed my mind. Maybe down the road when I have a bit more farkling money in my pocket, I'll get that.
We now have His and Hers Spyders!
Current Spyder: White 2015 F3-S SE6
His Spyder: White 2015 F3 SE6
Previous Spyder: 2012 RT Limited SE5 -- 30,300 miles
Previous rides: Kawasaki & Honda

I auditioned this player at SpyderFest mounted on the Oh so excellent Triple Threat and it sounded great. The price that Lamont told me was $299 so not expensive.

Key power location
The Shark Amp requires a connection to the key power (ON position), and the battery + and -. This allows the system to play when the Spyder is not running. Where did you get the key power from?

Loud enough
How does this system sound at highway speed. I have a custom exhaust that is pretty loud, not to the point of not being able to hear anything but I have found that Im getting higher and higher with my ScalaRider speakers in my Shark Evoline helmet. I am hoping for something that I can run about 80 with and hear clearly.
