That's what it sounds like to me. Clutch isn't fully releasing. Dealer fix?

That's what I thought. Bought from a dealer out of state, but my regular dealer is good to me.

Interesting..!!
did you try going into gear then back to neutral..?? Sounds like a shifting problem if more constant could be output shaft bearing, but hows your oil and oil level..?? Might check the front sprocket boltfor correct torque..

For Sure, get it checked out. Could cause damage to the gears that may not show up till later.

Hydraulic Clutch
I'm not sure how it's done on a Spyder but on my motorcycles that had hydraulic clutches, the adjuster was down at the slave cylinder on the clutch end of the hydraulic brake line used for the clutch.

Mine has the same chatter but only when the engine is hot. When the engine is cold its quiet with clutch in or out.

Thank all y'all for your input. The F3's in the back of the garage now and going to the dealer after Spyderfest.
Today I am grateful for two things...
I still have my GS, and there's a four year warranty on the F3.

Sorry to hear that, That has got to be hard to take knowing what you are missing.

I think that given your reputation . . . .

Wadda you think?
. . . . you are making your F3 nervous. It is probably afraid of what you are going to do next. While the F3 is the "gutsiest" Spyder out there, sometimes even they meet their match.
Yeah, take it into the shop, let them pamper it a little, give it a little time to get its courage back. Soon it will be raring to terrorize those Texas roads with you.

Thanks Mo Lee, the F3 is grounded till it's fixed to my satisfaction. Really miss the feet forward, sitting in the machine feel...
Was taking the F3 up to Spyderfest to see if I could win the F3 division, now riding the GS up and racing with the guys.
P.s., Hubby has been a trooper through this whole drama.

Darn! and I was hoping you would be the one brave enough to put your F3 up against my old GS. I guess that is 7 down who else do I know with an F3!

Moi? Make anything nervous?
She probably does need some spa treatment after all she got me through. Foggy overpasses and rain off and on for three days...
Haven't really gotten a chance to put the F3 through her paces properly. Looking forward to that when she's fixed.

Would have loved to race you on the F3! Guess it will be a match between my old GS and your old GS now.
Who else has a F3? Hmmm... maybe one or two other people could race you???

I think Mo Lee is right, you've scared the F3. But now the GS is probably really worried about how hard you can race it knowing that you have your F3 waiting for you back in TX. I'm looking forward to seeing you on whatever gets you to the party.

Am I really that scary?
The GS loves to race and doesn't think much of the F3 for getting a boo-boo so quickly. Looking forward to seeing you soon!

If a mechanic told me the chatter is normal, without taking a peek at the whole clutch/shift mechanism, I wouldn't accept that answer. The chatter is metal against metal. You're right, somethings going to blow up after a while.
This is a mechanical problem, with a mechanical solution. Nothing hard about that...

Seen 2 more F3's with the same noise as mine today. If it is a issue I'm not letting them open it up anyway. Replace the whole assembly if and when a fix comes out. Until then I'm going to beat on it....

Thanks for telling me we aren't the only ones with the chatter!
Going to ponder what you wrote and post tomorrow...

Does yours do it when cold? Mine is only noticeable when at full operating temp. No noise or feeling in the foot peg when cold. Almost a bad bearing sorta sound to me. Oil is full and clean. I'm going to change the oil @ 600 miles and cut the filter open to look for metal. Anyone else with a M6 notice anything?

Went for a ride today. Interesting results...
When cold, no chatter, no problems. Two temp bars, could feel a slight chatter in the clutch handle. Four bars, could hear the chatter as well as feeling it in the clutch bar and brake pedal.
Looking forward to knowing what you find in your filter.

Does this seem to be a manual or SE6 also problem?
