Seat Struts
Are all the seat struts the same? Will an RS strut fit a RT? Tom

They are different. Don't know if they will interchange or not. For some reason I'm thinking the RT shock is shorter???

Already had to change mine on the 2014 RT. (warranty) Would not stay up while fueling.

Different part numbers and prices on 2014s. RS is half the price of RT "Gaz Shock."

otherwise be a vulgar brawl.

A recent post ref a stronger Strut for the RT
The owner had a back rest fitted to his seat but the OEM Strut could not deal with the extra weight
He gave the following advice
"The stock strut just is too weak with an ultimate + back rest to fuel with. I replaced it with a Strongarm 4423 and it works great now"
