Good start but how about the gas tank boiling issue?

Glad to see this issue being addressed before someone gets hurt

Wonder if this was Spyderann's problem?

Stay Tuned...
As the owner of a 2013 ST-L, I will stay tuned for further updates. Additionally, I plan to share this news with my Dealership as a proactive measure. Thanks for the post!!!

Steve,
Thanks for offering up some more information on this subject!

Since a recall has been issued in Canada, and there is an apparent "fix" for the issue, would it not be in the best interest - Public Relations wise - to be proactive, and offer the fix, or initiate the recall in other countries?

Very wise of you to share with your dealership. Amazing how many Spyder owners are better informed then dealers about the products they sell.

How do you know that? You are making an assumption.
The streets of Canada could be littered with dead bodies fused to burnt out shells of Spyder motorcycles.
Major corporations have a way of hiding these things.
Anyone figure out how that one Spyder caught fire during "demo days" a little while back? Sure that had them rushing to the showroom floors to buy!

I have recommended to BRP that they stop testing new products in Canada in sub-freezing temperatures. No wonder they keep missing the "heating" problems with the Spyder.
And yes, I am joking. Obviously, you did not read your owner's manual carefully: "NO CANADIANS WERE INJURED DURING THE MAKING OF YOUR SPYDER". They only use immigrants who have not obtained citizenship status.
