I drilled a small hole behind the mirror glass about center and at the opposite end of the mounting end of the assembly to the bike. I just pushed the glass in on the inside edge nearest the bike which created just enough space to use the drill bit. I then used a long zip tie to fish back and with patience came out the same hole as the existing wiring. I taped the wires in just before the connector and it works fine with no disassembly required.
If memory serves me correct. I used bluestratos instructions to install my lights
Is it Friday yet? ... Oh yeah, I forgot. I'm retired

Personally, I would suggest the LED strip not arrows for RS

As stated, the RS mirrors are smaller than the RT's, so I personally wouldn't want to block any of what little you have. But you could probably put on some of the LED light strips on the edges.

Went for the stick ons, tried to get the clips off but being a 2010 they are getting brittle. So I got the bottom on both sides which allowed to open up a bit, drilled the hole and fished the wire out through original hole and spiced. All is good!
