Magic Mirror Mounts
I've popped my mirrors out of those ridiculous pop-on mounts for the last time.
I'm seconding the recommendations people have made on behalf of the Magic Mirror Mounts. Took about 20 minutes to install (mainly because my workbench is a mess), and the mirrors are held in place by amazingly powerful magnets.
If you find yourself having to remove your mirrors regularly to work on the bike, these will make that task MUCH easier to perform. I've always feared that I was going to break something removing the mirrors, but these remove that fear.

He had to order a new complete mirror!! Now I am concerned about loosing one to bad places in the road!! Nothing came in the box to catch them if one is shook off the trike while riding! Any suggestions?

I needed a nap, after I got done with it!
When I was wrestling, I accidentally had two magnets come in contact with each other AFTER I'd removed the white washer that had been separating them. WOW!. I tore a fingernail and ended up using two screwdrivers, one in each hole, to pull them apart.
So, I set down the magnet and it pulled over a knife I had on the workbench, so I had to separate the magnet from the knife.
So, buyer beware! Great product, but if you're not used to working with powerful magnets you need to assume that EVERYTHING might be magnetic, and avoid anything coming in contact with the magnets. Having two of them come in contact with each other is the worse case.

I had the same thing to me when I was installing my Magic Mirrors. What happened to me was that when trying to separate the 2 magnets, they slammed back together and wound up pinching some skin on one of my fingers and caused it to bleed and create a blood blister. Its still sore this morning. Oh the pain we go through to add farkles to our bikes.

Don't try to pull them apart, slide them apart. Also, try to be ready to install the magnet so that you don't have to set it down on anything. Any minuscule bit of magnetic material will become a permanent addition to your installation in the form of grit.

Great advice jet
i use a cymbals action and hold the single magnet high and away
i then put the remaining pack into my opposite pocket before building the screws and washers assembly and fitting immediately to the bike
i separate 600 of these at a sitting and have only been bitten once....well,would you believe twice?
