I've ridden my F3 in 3 digit heat and not had an issue with my feet.
I got the call last week. It gave me a chance to voice my opinion on some things (like the Kinda tires), but she seemed to have already heard that a time or two:banghead:
A lot of the survey...
They work, and are reasonably priced!
Thinking seriously about these myself. I would like to see a pic of the F3 with bags removed to see what it looks like with just the mounts. I wouldn't be using the bags full time.
Just registered and I was #167 I believe.
The F3 corners great in stock form... But what I noticed most upon adding the Ronbar was the stability is adds on rough/uneven pavement. (Thanks Spyderpops)
Prayers for the Clark family!
I tried the link that's posted but it won't open.
I have added most all of the same farkles as CaptBob, and they all compliment the F3S. I am still using the stock seat as I find it reasonably comfortable. My longest ride was 450 miles, and I must...
I rode the Talimena Scenic Drive two weeks ago. I rode from NE Ar down to Hot Springs then across to Mena. Rode the parkway to the end and spent the night in a quaint motel in Talahina Ok. I have...
I did the same, works great and looks good.
I put a set of RT shocks on my 09 GS, they were great! You will enjoy the change for sure.
I really don't find them ugly myself ( I purchased the light tint that matches my F4 windshield). But even if I found them unattractive, they work so well I would use them anyway!
My first was an 09 GS SE5, I now have a 15 F3S SE6.
Hi Jlbmpo, looks like you are nearby, I live in Paragould. Message me and we can get together for a ride sometime.
Great review!
This is great info, Thanks.
Congrats to your son! Be safe on your trip.
I hope you bring some F3S hand wings in light tint! I plan to be there.
I will be checking into the hotel Wednesday afternoon. Looking forward to meeting some great folks!
Are the Shad bags waterproof? I watched a video review that said that the expensive Can Am bags are only "water resistant".
I have owned both and would have to say that I am a little faster on the RS/GS. And I am an aggressive rider in the curves.
That being said, the F3 is so much more comfortable for a long ride that I...
Welcome from a fellow Arkie!
Congrats on the new F3!
Congrats on your F3S, I'm loving mine!
SE6 and no regrets!
+1
As a former FJR owner, I think you will enjoy the power of the F3S. I've owned several bikes (including a Spyder GS) and the FJR was the only thing faster! You would have to add luggage to be happy...
I am 61 now and the comfort of my F3S greatly outweighs the agility of my former GS. BRP is just looking at market trends, and we are an aging demographic.
In my sixth decade now and I have ridden my Spyders SAFELY through rain storms that I would not have attempted on a two wheeler even as a teenager!
