• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

YOUR HORN BLOWS

:yikes: Calling all geeks... what is the best horn we can put on the Spyder that would be at least twice as loud as the stock one?

Will this horn fit the Spyder without any modification (plug and play?)
Not sure, the guys on SVRIDER were having trouble finding a place big enough to hide it and seperated the unit into 2 halves and linked them by a hose. They did say it's very loud...I'll ask if they had to adapt the connection for it to fit.
After checking back, they cut the horn connector on the SV in half and each half slid over the contact tab just fine. I think they used a relay, but maybe not. Here's the post.

I don't think you're going to find a P&P decent horn. All of the louder ones will require a relay as they require more amperage. Stock does not use a relay.

However, in the post I mentioned above, I detailed exactly how to install including the relay connections. Shouldn't be a big deal.

I also installed the Stebel horn and loved it...until it stopped working. After having this problem I then found this.

Looks like the review is right! To be fair I can send the horn back for exchange but I don't have a good feeling about it.

I think I might try the Hella's Supertones next!
Me too just have to find the ones Made in Germany not India, let me know how you make out.
What do you think is the best placement? where the stock horns are or what?
