• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Recently bought a 2019 F3L and tried to adjust the frunk to open easier. Now, it won’t open at all!!!

I can feel the key release the latch but under no circumstances can I get the frunk lid to open. I seen some posts about a stuck frunk on a RT but nothing about the F3. Searched here, U Tube and just Googled for an answer but have had no luck

Any advice is most appreciated !!!!!!

With the assistant placing the key in the release position, manipulate the frunk lid side to side to see if it will release.

How about gently pressing down on the latch pin to release pressure and then turning the key. If there is too much tension on the latch it will not release.

Tried that as well.

I’ve taken my RTL completely apart w/o issues but this is a vexing problem on the F3L.

Finally!!!!!!

I was able to lift the lid just a bit to spray some lubricant on the release and got it to release.

Putting on the secondary release with bicycle brake strand wire to avoid this situation in the future!!!!
