• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Yamaha Joins The Trike Party

Not our party..!!

this one falls in the scooter catagory. In my opinion, if the wheels are that close together and you have to lock it somehow so it won't fall over, it's a scooter and I would opt for a bike. But there will be a market for it has great look...

Likewise in comparison to the Piaggio. Yamaha does build a quality product. Never had any issues with the three I owned. One lunger 80cc (60's), Venture Tourer (80's), and V-Star (early 2000's)

:agree: Back in the day; "Yamaha", wasn't the first club that I'd pull out of the bag... but it was a REAL close second!

I agree with the previous post that it is more like a scooter. Not really my thing, but I am glad to see Yamaha throwing their hat in the ring.

Just sayin'...........

I don't get how anyone compares this to a scooter. The resemblance to the Piaggio MP3 architecture aside, you clearly sit atop the Yamaha, it's not a step-through-- that thing wouldn't ride at all like a scooter.

What size are those wheels? :dontknow:
It'd feel a whole lot more natural to all of us, if it's got REAL rims and rubber on it!

Any idea about the size of the motor? That'll be the key. A 650 would tell everyone it's an upscale scooter. A 1200, would send another message... :D
