• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Y Connector

I recently purchased a used BRP OEM trailer hitch and it included 2/3rds of the wiring harness.
I have the taillight converter, BRP part# 710003903 and the trailer pigtail BRP# 710003272
What's missing is the Y connector for connecting to the bikes wiring harness to make this a true "plug n play"
Can someone supply the correct BRP part # for this Y connector and is the dealer the only source for it?

Came off a 2016 RT and going on a 2017 RT

As always, Thanks

Looking for the BRP OEM Y connector part # I have the other parts
Thanks

I do not have time to look, but if you go to the Spyderlovers homepage, there is a link to the Can Am instructions for many of the accessories. First find the part number of the entire trailer kit for your bike, then search the link for the instructions. The instruction sheet will give applicable part numbers for items in the kit. Whether they sell the harness outside of the kit is another hurdle. All the best with it.

They are available as a separate item. Look in the accessories catalog 2018 or 2019 under trailer. I think it is called module harness. Look for the one that matches your year and model.

Found it!
The Y connector alone appears to be #219400893 This is for the 2010-2017 RT
Now if I can just get BRP's website to play nice....
Thanks to all

You are correct. The Y connector, which is referred to as a module, is part #710003200. However when going to purchase it on BRP's website, it is packaged
with two zip ties and becomes part #219400893 @ $39.99. Go figure
By the way, the picture BRP shows for this part is actually a picture of the Spyder full cover!?
