• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Orbital Blue RT-SE5
Hello,

I have had XM satellite radio on several vehicle's there are Two prices

there is the $150.00/year ($146.00 ?) per year that most people pay.

They also have a lower $77.00/year price same service but you have to ask for it.

Then they tell you ok you will pay the $146.00 at the beginning of next year.

You will have to renew it every year and mention the $77.00 deal.

if you dont use it during the winter, cancel it, then next riding season re-instate it at the $77.00 price.

it's like you are paying for half a year.

hope this helps someone

Just saw this thread. XM has several plans with varied pricing schemes. I bought the "lifetime" plan. I think it was in the area of $400.00 to $500.00. There's not only an over all savings with them, but in my state there are certain fees that are avoided as well.

I have an XM in my Toyota, but will not buy another radio as long as they don't give me some kind of decent break on multiple price. I pay the extra $2 or 3 a month for internet access. That way I can use my computer, my iPod Touch or cell phone to listen to XM. I haven't hooked it up yet, but I plan on running the MP3 input from the Runk up to the front so I can plug my cell phone into the radio system for XM. AND! I don't even need access to the satellite!

I use Pandora on the RT, it's just like XM but it's free.
