XM radio

Anybody have a problem with the sound quality of Xm radio. More specifically, compared to regular fm radio.

Anybody have a problem with the sound quality of Xm radio. More specifically, compared to regular fm radio.

I have Sirius & only issue is going north or south. But easy fix by moving antenna out on top of passenger seat

My XM sounds better than the FM. Better quality transmission probably.

Satellite radio is digital, and has better quality than FM (frequency modulation). It does have it's dead spots, such as heavy tree cover, large buildings, gas station canopies, etc. XM satellite is located in the sky, in the vicinity of where the sun is at two o'clock in the afternoon. If that area is blocked, usually the radio goes silent.
But overall, the sound quality is great.

My only problem with the XM is the volume is much lower than the FM radio.
