• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Xm Radio

XM is an added cost option. The RT system will accept it, but it has to be purchased and installed separately (along with the Entertainment Harness). I'm not sure if it can be added to the ST.

wow, your right Scotty, I tried to build an ST with one and no XM or CB offered like on the RT

I wonder if you could achieve it with the Zumo 665 and the bluetooth?:dontknow:

XM RADIO

An alternative might be Iheart Radio. It is a free app that I downloaded on to my iphone. As long as you have cellular service, you can pick up radio stations from all across the country. Rock, alternative, R&B, country, talk, sports, etc. This is a great app. You might be able to run it thru your speakers.VisitedStatesMap.jpeg

If you already have an XM acct, they offer smart phone and PC XM services for an additional $3.50 a month. You'd then have to figure out how to get it into your helmet...

Garmin Zumo 665

I have a Zumo 665 mounted on my RS complete with a Sena s10 Bluetooth headset. Mounted XM antenna inside frunk. Easy link with headset and great music and football scores on XM.
Bump!!! Someone make me an offer. Gotta sell quick!!

I read the online copy of the st manual in the audio system section, and there is some mention of the xm radio in there. I figure they will probably offer the cb and xm packages in the future.

XM radio

Hi,
first don't even think of getting that $1300 CB installed it's a waste of money and having that over priced XM installed is a mistake. If you have the Garmin 660 installed get the Garmin XM30 radio and attach it to the GPS.
We have it installed on our 2013 ST Limited, also had it on our 2011 RT-S

:hun:Can I get more info? I have the 660 installed, are you saying there's a add on that will work with 660?

Oops I was thinking 550 and wrote 660

Sorry about that, no I sorry to say the 660 won't work with the XM. But there is no way I would ever get the Can Am CB installed even if it could. I paid the $1300. it cost to install on my RT-S and it never did work right. I bought and used the CB made by J&M audio. They have a great radio, and I hope that make a mount for it to work on the RT's and ST's. But I would willing to bet that one of the aftermarket makers here on the Forum will have something. Have you looked at the Sena Bluetooth they have for the Spyders. They make it to work with the 2013's. My wife and I have a set and the headsets are great. Sounds like she is right next to me, Her Spyder my Harley.
