• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I was a bit hesitate to attempt to install all of them but decided it was time to give it a shot, plus I was getting tired of it just sitting around for me to look at. The install went really good, there are a couple of human errors in it but to be honest with you I expected worse coming from me.. It does take some patients and to be frank with you is somewhat of a challenge at time. I had to walk away for a while during the install just to kind of clear my head so to say. Having said that again Thank You Pete, Kelly and staff for a great product and I would highly recommend "Wrap My spYder" for a great product... https://wrapmyspyder.com/ Special Note: Out of all the graphics I ordered I believe the one I like the best is the wheel graphic..

I found putting the WrapmySpyder tank protector near impossible with dry application. Company told me to try misting the surface with water and then try applying the wrap. Worked much better.

I didn't have a problem with a dry install. The 3M tape that was on the backing is some pretty strong tape for sure. I mean once it hit the tank it was ON THE TANK, very little if any adjustment could be made. I found out that applying it the way the instructions said to the tee made the application go on pretty easy, now there where times I was -------- well hesitate to do it that way but elected to and it worked out fine.

 It's Lookin' good!! :firstplace:
What's next? :D

Thanks Bob ---- As far as mechanical I am going to look at replacing the rear shock --- In my thoughts it should have came with a rear shock that supports a "2 Up" riding style since there is a rear seat on it right?? I think the stock rear shock is basically a paper weight and leaves much to desire. Not sure what I'm gonna go with - cost wise the BRP 2 Up is probably the best options for me - I mean I wont ride 2 up much but when I do I would like the passenger to be somewhat comfortable with-out bottoming out. As for as the looks ---- Well not sure yet I believe that part is over for now but you never know..... Joe

I agree with you that the BRP shock is a strong contender...
But more than half of the fun is in the shopping!! :D

I love the black on black......and those side panel protectors have up especially well

Pretty much standard is $199.00 plus shipping for the shock.. Looks like that is pretty much the going price that I see. Yah and you are right, shopping is the fun part---- Installing,, well some one has to do it... Maybe I can get her to do that part ---- I'm thinking NOT..... Joe

I tried it both ways. Dry was much harder. If you mist with water you can adjust as necessary and then start pressing the water out. If you place dry, there is no adjusting without damaging the wrap material.

Yes, wet application is an option with our textured carbon fiber vinyl 2 piece tank protector. With the Spine real carbon fiber protector like in the photos, we recommend dry application. Especially with the 3M adhesive. Best to follow the instructions supplied with the kit.

When my Missus laid some of Pete's finest work down on our 2010: we wet things down first!
It gives you some "Wiggle Room"! :dg2:

I put on my own decals that I bought from WRAPMYSPYDER.COM ( Sceptor kit-orange reflective, & "1330" Straight med decal/cutout) these were very easy to put on my spyder. Here is a picture of some of my decals: newest farkles on RTS-SE6 COGNAC 008.jpg newest farkles on RTS-SE6 COGNAC 005.jpg Pictures of Newest Farkles on 2014RTS-SE6 006.jpg Great customer service, great spyder products. Deanna

:agree: great Spyder products!
(And Dee: your bike also looks GREAT!)
Bob, I have several WRAPMYSPYDER products on my spyder.

( I personalize it, only 1 more month until I wake up the spyder from it's winter's nap( out of hibernation) :roflblack:
:roflblack:. Then I'll start putting more miles on the :spyder2: WOHOO!! Hurry up spring! Deanna

I'll be honest. I don't like most of the wraps I see on Spyders, but that black on black looks really good! Great job!

Yah some of the wraps you see out there are a bit --- well I can't even come up with a word but having said that as long as the owner of the spYder likes it that's what is important. Yah when I started looking at wraps I kind of didn't really want anything to STAND-OUTISH so to speak of - I do like the Black being kind of all Black and the Carbon Wrap kind of shadows the black and compliments it rather nice. Thanks for the comment Bam Bam and Pebbles...
