• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Would never have believed it!!!

I've had a tough time buying in to all the talk of the improvements coming from the 1330 platform and the 6 speed over previous models. I finally decided to trade a 2012 RT L for 2015. I didn't even ride it first. I just took everybody's word for it. Turns out you were all right on the mark. Thanks to all that post on this forum. It's a wealth of good information. Keep coming with it.

:congrats: on the new Spyder. :2thumbs:

(Although those of us in the 998 club are sorry to see you leave.) ;)

See we told you so! The all new front suspension over the 13 is what I like most. Change was to the 14 and later.

Welcome to Animal Crackers Zoo and the mighty "1330" club.

Nothing wrong with the 998; it will run like bat out he**😀 Only thing that used to bother me was when I would be cruising cross country revving 5,500 rpms or a little more, my old man's ears would tell my brain to shift into high gear and I was already in fifth gear😜

Besides, now I not only run much lower rpms, I have another gallon of fuel. These things are a LOT of PHUN👍👍

Did the same - traded in my 2012 RT Limited

No regrets...love the 2014 RT Limited with the 1330 engine / 6 speed trans platform. We have 26,000+ trouble free miles on it now and will ride a few more days before putting it away for winter. It's been a GREAT bike. I do have to say my 2012 RT Limited was a good bike as well, but I like the lower RPM's when cruisin' ...less vibration and noise.

My 2014 RT Limited is a "keeper"! :D

Congrats on trading up - you'll love it - enjoy! :ohyea::ohyea::ohyea:

Don't anybody get me wrong. I loved my 2012 and want to help my dealer find it a good home but for me the improvements were worth the trade.

Congratulations..!!

You see..sometimes we are right...:roflblack: glad you made the change and are enjoying your new ryde..:2thumbs::ohyea:

No doubt; there's a lot of really good bikes showing up on the market now. nojoke
Here's to hoping that your old bike finds a new home that's worthy of it!!

Me Too!!!!

I traded mt 2010 RTS for a 2015RTL and never did a test ride. After we had signed all the paperwork my wife said that very thing " We never even road the new one" .

I'm a beliver

I also moved up to a 2015 RT Limited Pearl White, sold my 2012 RTS great trike but cruising at 5 to 6000 Rpm's wasn't likeable for me , who as been riding for 50 + years at 3000. I believe they finally got it right.
I would like to join the 1330 club, are there any rules or a oath to take ?
Just did my 600 + brake in taking off for Tombstone AZ tomorrow for a trike in should have the 3000 MI oil change by then.
Been reading we need to lower the oil by 1/2 qt. To the low end of the dip stick. I used a hand pump through the dip stick tube and will recheck it before we leave. My question is why didn't the factory send out a notice to all new 1330 owners if it can be harmful to the motor/trans. ? Mine was above the full mark from the factory. Anyone had this issue addressed to them or the proper way to check the oil. Well I take it back, they almost got it right.
Any way it's a keeper nothing perfect. Really enjoy the forum and the wealth of information , now can I join??
