Man, pretty darn good racing this weekend. Laverty pulls off the double and Biaggi got screwed big time. No way should they have assessed a ride through on him for the off in race 2. I mean dude was 8 seconds ahead at the time! and he did slow down before re-entering the racing surface. Heck, that lap was only a few tenths quicker than what he was running. But it's what they ruled, so that is that. That inside move that Laverty pulled off in Parabolica on the last lap was fantastic! All in all it was very entertaining. Race 2 ws intense! A couple of things I noticed...

You can really see the difference between the AMA bikes and the Moto GP bikes. They just seem to be a bit more twitchy than the GP machines. But I guess this is understandable since the GP bikes are purpose built race machines. I also noticed subtle differences in technique; the GP guys just had more control and used better racing lines as opposed to the superbike guys. And I do NOT mean to knock the AMA riders in the least; the GP riders are just so darned good! But when AMA hits Salt Lake City I will be watching.

BTW, the F1 race in Turkey was no sluch either! Very good race weekend.

wsb is clown racing, people slaming into each other, plus 2 races the same day lets more people adjust to the track, biaggi is the biggest whiner in racing, always something or someone else's fault.

I wish i would have caught the race
