• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Wonderful trip to Blue Ridge Ga

Penny wanted to put some miles on her new RT Limited today so we took my Timeless Black and her Lava Bronze and headed north this morning. 41 degrees at 8:30 ... good thing we had warm stuff on. Took a couple of hours to get to Dahlonega from our house and then we headed north on highway 60 to Blue Ridge. 60 is an awesome road that winds north through two national forests. I think it rivals highway 129 (the dragon) for sweepers and scenery.

By the time we hit Suches, known as the valley above the clouds the temp warmed up to mid fifties. Hit Blue Ridge just after noon and visited Danielles Deli http://blueridgemountains.com/members/ID8033 for lunch. They have the most awesome Boars Head foot longs and Danielle is also awesome. She is French and is a former BMW test driver who knows her motorcycles. She had a ton of questions about Spyders and my wife sat her on the machine and pretty much sold her one on the spot. Danielle rewarded us with warm home made Creme Brule peach pie and home made ice cream..... can't beat that combo.

Later we papered the main drag with American Express card receipts as we loaded the bikes with goodies from the shops.

Got home at 6pm....great ride.... great day.... great food.... great machines. Penny now has 400 miles on it!

It was beautiful up there. We camped at Cataloochee campground then went down to Blue Ridge on Sunday. It was very pretty and it made really wish had my RT. I can't wait to get up there with it but may have to wait until spring.

I love that trip over the mountain on 60 between Dahlonega and Morgantown and bet it was fun on the bikes ...
