• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

wonder what they will find

[TD="class: post-content, width: 83%"] After going the traditional route with Dr's and Specialist (who seem to have a problem thinking outside of the box) for my ,now, 2 month old ear ache.. I went to my new dentist.

Thinking perhaps, a wisdom tooth going bad..

They took me in right away and took an x-ray.. but get this.. it was a 3D x-ray of my whole head..

His office is better equipped than the "specialist" it seems.

I'll know tomorrow.,, be it a bad tooth, TMJ,nothing.. or my meanness working out..

Or, In the immortal words of the great St. Louis Cardinal pitcher Dizzy Dean,

"The doctors x-rayed my head but they didn't find anything!"

I'm going to ask if there is anyway I can view it on my computer, That would be interesting I think..

I hope they don't find anything that's not supposed to be there! I have an appointment for a 3D x-ray on Wednesday. Joe and I go to the Dental School at UNLV so every appointment takes twice as long as it would at a normal office. But the price is less than half of what a "real" dentist charges so I cool my heels when necessary.

Good luck.

TMD/TMJ is what he said.. He was too quick, in my opinion, to want to operate.. $5000...this is something Medicare wouldn't cover, I suspect... Yes I'm oLDe.. wondering how I got here so fast:banghead:

He also prescribed a muscle relaxant, after he asked if I was on any medication.. I am on no medication, never have been... He said it would make me drowsy in the morning, after taking it at bedtime..so go to bed early and wake up an hr earlier than normal.. well I wake up at 4 am when my wife gets up to get ready for school, and then drift off and get up at 6 am.I do not need a drug to make me drowsy.. I can do it on my own, thank you..

He also said it was also an anti-depressant, though not as addictive as valium :hun:

30 day supply...He Said.. if I drank one beer and took this it could cause a heart attack :hun:

well guess what.. no drugs and no operation and I will find a new dentist.

I can do pain, I've done it for more than 1/2 my life
