• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I just bought my special series also. I immediately was not happy with the short windshield. I haggled with the dealer when I picked up my spyder and had them put a full size with vent on right then and there. Best part was I gave them the stubby and they traded straight across. You might try that with your dealer and see what they say.

I bought that shield for my 2014 rt and I am very happy. I actually cut my stock one to mimic the short shield like yours . I use it for summer and the wider one for winter.
 
The Show Chrome windshield has the anti buffet cut out vents like the stock windshield on the 14 & 15. I like that feature on the 14 stock windshield and find that it is much more effective than the BRP vented windshield. I had the BRP vented windshield and wouldn't spend money on another one of them. I bought a used 2015 shorty windshield for $20 at Spyderfest and plan to mount it when I get back from Alaska. I was surprised to see that they don't have the anti buffet cut out vents.
 
Go for an F4:thumbup: Taller and wider. Bought it at Spyderfest and love it! :2thumbs: Tom :spyder:
 
I had the smaller vented windshield that came with the 2014 RTL and did not like it. Len at Pitbull traded me straight across for a new standard windshield. I like it much better. Thanks Len.
