There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Windshield out of cycle sync after arm / gear replacement

Hi everyone,

2019 Spyder RT Limited:

I had to replace 2 windshield arms and repair a mount on the WPM. All good except that I must have installed the lift arm out of its original position. It complained, threw a code as it topped out.. c222b.. (IIRC). It stopped working altogether. Tested the motor with direct power. It’s ok.
Took the arm out, repositioned it, now it only goes up. Kinda useless.

How do I reset its cycle? The code is gone, but I wouldn’t mind clearing the memory of it anyway.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
G

We have seen this problem before and in every case take the arm back off and rotate it 180°

Ohh no… real time realization that I’ve royally screwed up. I may have broken the magnet. I was quite certain I put the arm back on correctly. That new gear I put on isn’t going to come out without a fight. Hell, I had to cut to old one off.

Cruuud…

Thanks for the info. I wish I had done a bit more research on this attempting this repair.

Good luck SuperGee, I just did one on my bike, got one of Ron's works of art, and followed his video almost to the tee, had only one snag, I broke that tiny little screw in the end of the the shaft off just a pinch above the surface! Luckily a friend of mine had a good set pliers and a torch, burnt the Lockite out and unscrewed the nub out!!! Hew Working fine now!!! Thanks again Ron!!!:firstplace:
