Windshield bracket STS

Hi all
Wishing all a great New Year
Just purchased a Calsci shield , then noted the foward plastic brackets no good . Someone overtightened it putting the bike together .Are there better aftermarket ones avail , talking about the piece on front of shield . Thanks Jody k, 2014 STS

Will try a chromed pair hope their abit stronger , added a bushing to temporarily install the new shield . Been enjoying the added area of wind block of the new screen . Have a safe , happy New year all Jody k 2014 st s

I would like to hear what you think of the CalSci shield. I have a 2013 STS and I am considering looking for a bit more coverage.

Calsci shield

The shields been a huge improvement so far . Some temps around 37 , not much highway testing yet . Not feeling any back pressure , got the extra wide , 25 inch tall
Seems like a well made product . Did 50 miles today , enjoyed it and the recently added ultimate seat . Have a great day , also have the circuit yellow . Jody K
