• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Windbender Windshields

I'm in the process of purchasing a 2014 RT adding it along side my 1800 Gold Wing. On my Wing I'm running a Windbender windshield I love the wind protection at highway speeds while giving me the ability to look over it.

Wondering until Windbender makes a windshield for the RT have any of you adapter an upper HP shield to your windshield mounting system?

I usually recommend running with the OEM stuff for 500-1000 miles and then see if you need anything better. :welcome: and :congrats: on the new ryde.

The wind bender served two purposes, the main one was to give the wing an electric adjustable windscreen. It's hard to fathom why Honda's flag ship motorcycle does not have a motorized adjustable windscreen.

The other as you know was to enable a much lower windscreen with the two parts generating a wind tunnel effect to push the air up and over you.

The first part is covered by the stock RT, it comes with motorized adjustable windscreen. If you upgrade to the vented version you can get a similar although not exact effect with the vent open, it helps push the air up and over.
