There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. "Wimpy Winter"

Scotty coined the phrase a few minutes ago but I'll sure go along with it!!

We got more....WAY more....snow in Oct. than we've gotten the whole rest of the winter so far! Most unusual, this is upstate NY after-all. :spyder:

Yesterday, Feb. 1st, I went for a Spyder ride, it was 55° on the digital when I left. I'm riding, enjoying the day and look down....57°! Then 58,° then 59°!! :yikes: It hung there for a long time but finally, after seeking out different elevations and such it hit 60°!! :ohyea: I went by a local golf course and the parking lot was packed, even found a tic on one of the dogs....well, it ain't all perfect I guess! :banghead:

And the forecast....low 40°'s, sun & clouds, no storms in the near future....Wimpy may be an understatement but heck yeah....keep it comin'!!

Even here in the sunny south the temps are way higher than normal, not that I am complaining mind you. But 78 degrees in February for a daytime high is really weird, it should be in the 40's

I guess you all can blame me for buying those winter snowmobile bibs last week!

:agree::agree: We've got to hold this Winter off for at least a couple of more weeks... I heard this morning that my Spyder is in the re-assembly stage... So far they've got the new frame outfitted with the wiring harness and swingarm... It sounds as if it's gonna be a while yet! :gaah:

We get another day like yesterday see if they can hook you up with a loaner, we'll go find a coffee shop or an ice cream store....probly a coffee shop, it's a little early in the year for ice cream.....the guilt would be crushing by the 4th of July!! :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

Coffee?? :shocked::shocked:
I can always use an extra gallon or so onboard!

My GUT would be crushing by the fourth of July!! :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

Bad year for BRP and Farmers in my area.
Cool wet summer did nothing for Jet Ski sales and now no snow makes for terrible Ski Doo sales!
:banghead:
Farmers need a Good week of real cold to kill off the weeds and freeze the ground good as it benefits summer crops and that hasn,t happened? :banghead:

But I,m Happy!!!

Weird weather patterns for sure. We turned the corner for now on the below zero weather in the Anchorage area. When I went to class last night it was 40 above. This morning its in the low 30's--making for an icy commute in about an hour or so. Just waiting for daylight. We are going to have a week of 30's with lows in the high teens to twenties--makes it feel like a heat wave is on. Also may get more snow.

Last year the snow and ice was melted on my side road by early March. I fired up the BlackWidow on March 3rd last year, and was able to ride pretty much every day after that. Time will tell this year--but I am going on 30 days or so and counting.

Glad to hear that the whole "Below Zero" nonsense has stopped for the time being! Let's hope that it stays that way!

70 here yesterday, 68 today. Winter has abandoned us. Farmers have begun plowing fields. The maple in my backyard has sprouted red shoots. Saw some daffadills blooming on some side roads. Hate to see what spring and summer are going to be like.

Just what I was thinking. Summers are getting tougher in the South.......or I am just getting older (I think it's both).

Well, while the contiguous 48 states have seen the second least snowy and one of the warmest winters on record, parts of Alaska have seen record cold and snowfall, and Europe and Asia are suffering under one of their worst winters on record, with even parts of the Black Sea freezing. Overall, the northern hemisphere is running about average this winter, but the distribution is weird. Don't measure "global warming" by what's happening in your back yard. The globe is a lot bigger place.

For the last week it has been in the mid 60's to low 70's everyday which has made for great :spyder:ryding weather here in Missouri. But........if we don't get some cold weather the bugs will carry us off this summer. :gaah:We sure can't have that for Spyderfest :lecturef_smilie:

That's the whole fun with "averages"; the mean has very little to do with the extremes... :gaah:

How's Denver holding up???????

 Shovelling snow at a mile high is not a sport for us Olpharts... I can't get enough air down here anymore! :opps:
I seriously hope that they're okay out there...

Agree-- but that is why it's 'climate change'.. not 'global warming' . Global Warming was a terrible term from the get-go. Whether it's man-made or not--- we are seeing climate change.... I guess as long as I get mild winters out of it I can't really complain.... ;)
