• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What is the belt tension for a 08 can am 990? Anybody know the torque setting for the front sprocket bolt.? Last, how is the 660 loctite applied to the gear & or bolt. Thanks guys &gals

Little checking.....

According to the manual....
front sprocket bolt is 81 ft lbs 2008-2009 later models 92 ft lbs
Tension 450N +/- 150N ( we use the krickit and run 160 to 200 lbs, I keep it on the low side)
Thread lock on the bolt threads only

If you remove the front sprocket bolt it is recommended you install a new bolt (if ordered from BRP or Cheapcycleparts.com it will come with the thread lock already applied.
