• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

WHY MEN DON'T STOP ANDASK FOR DIRETIONS!

Na , If you want to turn left you have to turn right. :dg1:

"Colleged" in Joisey...

Right turn; followed by 2 lefts will get you to the left that you wanted in the first place... :hun:

Im almost ashamed to admit it; but I've used the same tactic up here in NYS when oncoming traffic was looking particularly stubborn. ;)

Hey I'm from Jersey, Did you ever try to explain a jug handle to a tourist???.:roflblack:
the jug handle isn't my problem bob. i'm from nh originally and you have the right of way when you're in a circle and in nj it bugs me that the person entering the circle has the right of way. I've been here for near 30 years and still can't get that into my head.nojoke

Circle's are slowly being eliminated in Jersey, The last two near me [somerville, Ledgewood], were taken out a few years ago. But my rule of thumb in a Circle, Is if I'm on a bike/trike, Everyone else has the right of way,
When I'm in my truck i have the right of way. Might makes right.:roflblack:

Since I am not from Joisey, what is a jug handle?
It's a peculiar way to make a left hand turn...
Take an offramp to the right, and then turn left at the end of the ramp onto the road that you wanted to turn left onto
YOu'll end up approaching your original road and crossing it; right, to left!

Youse Southpaws always get your left and rights mixed up!
You if you want to make a left turn on most roads with the Jersey Wall,
You have to turn right from the right lane then at the end of the handle you turn right again' to end up on the road you originally needed to turn left to get on. '
Now if you wanted to make a ''U'' turn then after the last right turn you have to make a left turn. :yikes:

I think men don't ask for directions because they are already ring late as a result of waiting for their wives to get ready, and it's their way of making it seem like their fault instead of their wives. Very chivalrous. ;)

In the UK we use to have a saying "If you want to know the way ask a Policeman"

If you ask one now

"What is the quickest way to the Police Station" you get the answer - Commit a crime and get caught!
