• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Why are you Sitting on my Bike?

Just wondering if any of you guys ever walked out of a store to see someone sitting on your bike? How did you handle it?

Not yet happenned with my Spyder (yet) but I've had a few people putting kids on my Roadstar when I wasn't looking. Had to tell them I didn't approve. I think finding someone on my Spyder will happen one day. I'll handle it as I see best at the time. Depends on the arrogance of the culprit. Generally I never let anyone on my Roadie (in the fear that it will be dropped) but I've let other bikers known to me to sit on the Spyder (not really dropable). Insist that they get on and off by standing on the pegs to reduce chances of dragging their boots across the seat.

I'm getting ready to add a presure switch in my seat and a windshield wiper pump so when I arm the system anyone who sets on my bike without asking is going to get very wet and look very stupid. ;D

Now that should be a factory option...

...Aim it at the crotch area...

(Sorry. I am a bad person.) ::)

When I brought mine to work the other day it was a continuous crowd gathered around it. I kept walking out of our office across the hallway to the window to check on it. Just saw alot of people standing there but who knows if anyone sat on it.

I ride my Spyder to work everyday and there's always people pulling into the parking lot to take a look or snap a pic. I have yet to see someone sit on it. If I were to see someone on it, I would definitely go out and ask them to get off -most likely politely just because that's the kind of person I am.

I'd have to be polite about it too since I see these people every day LOL! Gotta keep my job - gas money for the Spyder!

Yesterday was my first day with my Spyder stopped at a restaurant and must of had a dozen people stop and look. Some even pulled into the parking lot and took pictures but no one sat on it. When I was leaving a guy came out of the chow joint and wanted to know everything I could tell him about the Spyder. Spyders rule. ;D ;D :bigthumbsup:
