• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Who is the best?

I think I have a pretty good tech at my chosen dealership. What I was wondering was, Who has a good Spyder tech? What have they done to make you think so? I am sure there are some great techs out there, here is a chance to brag about the good ones.

Aaron at Klinger's PowerSports! :2thumbs: :yes::yes: :firstplace:
I'll put him up against any other tech in a "Steel Cage Death-Match of skills"!

I'm out..!!

Do most myself with help from SL..don't know any tech's so it's up to the rest of you..!! :dontknow:

As usual, I have a slightly different take. I look at the dealer, and how they treat me as a customer. I try to have a good relationship with the service manager--so they know me as the customer. Techs here, seem to come and go on a regular basis. That said, over 90% of the time, the work performed on my :spyder2: at any time has met or exceeded my expectations.

When I had my famous valve adjustment last fall, just before putting the :ani29: to bed for the long sleep--(28,000 miles), the tech did not install a new gasket. That created a leak that became apparant when I started driving the :spyder2: this year. The dealer made it right--and that is what counts, big time, for me. He did not charge me for over $800 in parts and labor to fix the tech's glitch.

The Spyder tech at Freemont Motor Sports does a fantastic job. Everything we have had him do on our bikes has been done in a timely manner and have not had any issues with the work. We have had a new dealer open up here in Colorado Springs, but I'm debating going to them or driving the 45 minutes to Freemont. Decisions, decisions.

I was impressed with Roberts PowerSports while at Spyders in the Adirondacks...They helped me out with a bad situation, replace my front tires and actually aligned them correctly and thier rates were reasonable.
