• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hubby and I loaded up this morning for a week's riding ending with the Maggie Valley owner's event and Lamont's BBQ, if it is still on. Not half a mile from our house the Spyder threw codes: DPS, ABS, Limp Mode and began to shake like the engine is cutting out. Not good. We are preparing to transport the bike to the dealer and hour and a half away. I have no hopes they can fix it today. Hopefully we can salvage some of our vacation. Any thoughts on what the problem might be?

 If it threw all of that at you; I'd check the battery connections first...
It's doubtful that so much could go wrong all at once. A low voltage conditon could trigger all of that though...
Please let us know what the dealer finds, and good luck!

That both sucks and scares me as I leave next Saturday for a 5000 Km trip with the guys!!!! Probably the DPS thing, you will really need to post year and model for the gurus to help. Good Luck

My 2011 RT ltd is in the shop now for the vacuum hoses. Suppose to pick it up Wednesday morning and head on out to Maggie Valley... Good luck with yours.

Bummer..!!

As stated start with the battery. If any mods were done requiring messing with the electrical system check them. If pulling a trailer check wiring there. Hope that it is the battery so you can be on your way...!!

It turns out that the computer module has gone bad. A new one must be ordered from Canada. We won't be making the owner's event or the BBQ. Maybe next year.
