• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Which is safer - a heavy steel cage or a high-tech lightweight chassis and body?

This one came out quite a few years ago...
It's not surprising that 50 years worth of advancements in design have yielded "better" cars.
Today: the cars crumple up, and take them impact. They protect the passenger compartment.
In the old days: the car would look pretty good; but the passengers just got beat to death inside of it! :yikes:

(We owned a 2009 Malibu back then, and I showed the Missus this video...Her response was, "I don't plan on wrecking it anyway!" :D)

 Wow!
Talk about recycling... :roflblack:
That video came out when the 2009 Malibu was being introduced... :banghead:

(Check the date on your magazine somebody might be "pranking" you.)

No, what happened is in the letters to the editor, someone was questioning the safety aspect of the trend away from using steel. In response, the editor referred to this much earlier article and video. Somehow I had not seen that back in 2009 when it first came out. Guess I was the only one!
