Which AfterMarket fuel filter do you use for your F3?

I went to order one today from the dealers website, and it was more expensive to have it shipped than the filter itself.

If you have used an aftermarket fuel filter from a local auto parts store, which one has worked well for you?

I was surprised that when I went to look on Lamonster and BajaRon's sites that they did not have any listed.

I took mine off and took it in to NAPA. They sent me home with a Wicks #3095. I have replaced mine 2X now with the same. Around $5 out the door. Check your hoses as my short bypass hose had significant cracking so it got replaced also.

My buddy had a leak on one of his fuel lines on his 2015 F3S. These things are reaching the age where you really have to inspect everything more closely now.

Same as @jjc54, I went to NAPA with the old one and they fixed me up. I don't remember what it was, but it worked just fine.

WIX 33095 or NAPA 3095.

Replacing the fuel filter on an F3 is a whole different ball game compared to an RT, so you might like to read through the guide I posted and consider re-locating it to make it soooo much easier to replace next time.

Hi Everyone,

Part 1.

OK, it was time I looked at replacing the Fuel Filter on my 2017 Spyder F3-S. Prior reading alerted me to the fact it's not an easy item to replace because of where it's tucked-in just below the handlebar riser on the RHS of the Spyder... you have to remove all the plastic panels (except for the Frunk) as well as the seats, mirrors and the Instrument Cluster Panel to uncover the filter. Even the panels on the LHS of the Spyder have to come off so you have access to (2) screws at the top of the Fuel Tank cover.

Thanks, I know what it takes to get to it, I made the mistake of not doing it when I had the panels off this Spring (installing the right hand control from an F3S to give me cruise control on my base F3), I just screwed up and forgot to replace it while I had it apart. Unfortunately, I have to take it apart again to replace the left hand multi-switch, as the paddle shifter is slowly failing.

I forgot to order the filter when I ordered the left hand control, so I am replacing it now while I have it apart. The dealer wanted $19.00 for the filter and $20.00 to ship it to me!

I looked on Bajarons site today while I was ordering the brake caliper tool, a spare oil filter, and the seals that I need to do my other maintenance, but they didn't have the fuel filter and neither did Lamonster. I figured they would have had them for sure.

I admire the work you did to make it easier to reach, but I'll probably keep it where it is, I know that some of the stuff that BRP does not have a rhyme or reason to it, but there is some reason why that somebody put it in that specific place.
