• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

When to get new tires?

I own a ST Limited 2015. It has almost 17,000 miles on it. I have heard many Spyder Ryder's talk about changing tires out, some after 16,000. I check the tread often and it looks good to me. My question is what in particular should I be looking for so I will know when new tires are needed? Thanks for the help ahead of time.

Just keep an eye on your tread depth, and run them for as long as your comfortable with how things look.
Just don't run them until the "air starts poking through..." If you think that a bald rear tire compromises traction: you haven't felt what happens when a bald front tire compromises the handling! :yikes:

Depends....

I find weather is a main factor. If you deal with a lot of the wet stuff it is wise not to wait till you reach the wear bars/limit to change. We do not deal with that here so we can wait till the end. If you start to notice that the rear starts slipping more on acceleration especially on turns it is a good indicator that you are loosing your grip on the road.
